  • Socktober has kicked off! Now through 10/4, please donate new socks (preferably dark or patterned) and sized for elementary school kids. Collection bins will be in the classrooms. The socks will go to 6 underprivileged schools in Costa Mesa and Santa Ana.
  • Also, please bring gently used or brand new shoes as well. These will go to an organization that delivers them to children in need all over the world!  Contact Kara Greer (karagreer46@gmail.com) or Christina Hahne (rampartgoahead@gmail.com) with any questions.

  • Join us for a Rootin’ Tootin’ Reading Rodeo! Our Wild West Fall Book Fair is October 9th to October 13th. Saddle up, come grab some books, & raise money for our school!
  • Family Night will be on Tuesday, October 10th 5pm to 7pm. There will be food trucks, country tunes, a few western games, and Sheriff Bray will read to all the cowboys and cowgirls in the OK-To-Read Corral at 6pm
  • We need volunteers for our Book Fair! If you can spare an hour or two, it really is a fun volunteer job to see how excited these kids get about books! To sign up please Click Here
  • We will also be holding a used book drive this year and collecting gently used books for our sister school Wilson Elementary. Hope to see ya’ll on October 9th!

  • Thursday 9/28 – REQUIRED volunteer badge photo taken for NEW volunteers AND returning volunteers with a badge photo taken before last September (2016) by Cantrell Photography starting at 7:30 AM in the MPR.
  • Currently Underway: PTA Art Reflections Contest! There will be NO workshop this year, instead students are encouraged to work on their submissions at home. Find official rules for Art Reflections HERE and contact Liz deSousa with any questions.
  • Friday 9/29 – Volunteer badge pickup at 8 AM at flag deck
  • Monday 10/2 – All Art Reflections Entries are due to the front office
