Students who are not registered on the Aeries Registration Portal will not be assigned a teacher until it is complete. Aeries functions best on a PC, rather than mobile devices and/or Apple products. If your student/s is not going to re-attend Andersen, please contact the Andersen office immediately @ 949-515-6935

Who: Every Student, New and Returning


When: Starting August 1st, Deadline August 18th

Why: Annual updates of emergency contacts and consent of district and school policies is required.

How: On June 24th, instructions with your students Student ID and Verification Code are sent via US Mail

⇒My School Anywhere (MSA)

If you do not have an MSA account, go to and enter “Invitation Code”:andersen. Follow account set-up instructions. After your account is authorized, you will receive a confirmation email with login credentials and permission to access the Student & Faculty Directory, sign up for volunteer shifts, and purchase from the Andersen school store.

When: Starting September 5th, Deadline September 15th

Why: This App is Andersen’s primary Parent Portal which houses the 1) Student and Faculty Directory 2) Volunteer Sign-ups and 3) School Store (Spiritwear, Yearbooks, Fundraisers etc).

How: Open App or visit website.

Current MSA Members: Update teacher assignments and Student Directory information/preferences.

Notes: 1) Once all MSA accounts are updated, a paper directory will be distributed to those who have purchased them. 2) All families who wish to make a school purchase (i.e. spiritwear, yearbook etc) or sign-up to Volunteer must set-up an account. 3) Families are not obligated to appear in the Student Directory and may customize account preferences accordingly.

⇒School Loop

Dr. Bray’s “Weekly Happenings” emails are sent through School Loop. Be sure sign up for her weekly updates.

Who: New Students or New to School Loop

When: Starting Saturday, September 2nd

Why: School Loop is the webhost of the official NMUSD Andersen website. Registered parents receive Dr. Bray’s “Weekly Happenings” emails. Registered students have access to teacher assignments, homework, grades etc.

How: Registration set-up is required for each parent and each student. To link your child’s “Student Account” to your “Parent Account”, complete the student’s registration, then login to your parent account, click “Add Student” and then click on the name of each child you’d like to link.

Note: 1) Students can check their Student Account on 9/2/17 to see which new Teacher they’ve been assigned, 2) Parents and Students previously registered in School Loop should update contact info as needed.

⇒My School Bucks

Who: Students Pre-Paying for School Lunch

Where: App (Free from I-Tunes) | Website:

When: Anytime after you have the Student’s ID #

Why: An easy way for parents to pay for their child’s school meals using a credit/debit card.

How: Download App or go online to set-up account

Notes: 1) School Buck card charges can be viewed at anytime and credit balance can be set to replenish automatically, 2) The school office will also accept cash or checks payable to NMUSD (include your student’s name and student ID number).

Every June, School Supply kits may be pre-ordered from SchoolKidz on with code # 80891. These kits will be on your child’s desk on the first day of school.  If you did not pre-order the kit you may view the grade-specific supply lists here.
